October 7th – October 16th 2013

Its that time once again, the fun loving members of the Maine Irish American Club take to the skies and return back to the shores of the Emerald Isle to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the founding of the club. Our timing couldn’t be better, as 2013 is the year of The Gathering. A year when all those with Irish ancestry are returning home to be part of an amazing country wide reunion. The itinerary has been purpose built for the members of the club to suit our specific needs and includes visits to some very special places indeed.

I hope you can join us, this promises to be one fantastic immersion into the heart of Ireland, its culture and most importantly its people.

Free day. Today is yours to do as you wish. Killarney is one of the premier destinations in Ireland and with good reason. Or you could stay local and explore Ross castle, Muckross House and Gardens, or Torc Waterfall or all of the above, as you get jaunted around by horse and cart. Weather and time permitting, we will head on up to the Burren, a lunar like landscape that has to be seen to be believed.
